O, God, thank You for this wonderful place
With enough rock and shade to enjoy Your face!
The previous one was dense and crowded
And opportunities were few and doubtful.
Shortage and fight to possess the best ruined my rest;
Noise and shouts and people’s jest kept me stressed.
But here I have lots of space and glee
And the whole bay is just for me.
I can think without being disturbed by phones
And I can lie on the sand without being hit by bones.
It’s a rocky place full of power and safety
And the sea to it makes it grand and stately.
I wonder why I stayed there so long:
I just had to take the other road and sing a new song!
Let me learn my lesson well:
Follow the right road and you’ll find a bay.
