Don’t fear

dont_fear

It’s incredible, dear, but you must be free to see
What wonderful things I can ‘lee’ in a tree.
I can ‘lee’ a cup and a chandelier,
Which have tears or leaves as you go near.
I can ‘lee’ flowers or juices or candles,
Which make it exceptional among all other same-as.
A tree can bloom or wither or stay evergreen,
But that depends on whether it’s near a stream.
If it’s near a stream, it will win.
If it is not, it will rot.
And if it rots,
It’s subject to God’s wrath.
But if it wins,
It will always be part of God’s dream,
Which means that you and me can become branches of His everlasting t(h)ree.

Beware

beware

Dogs are everywhere.
They can be common or they can be rare,
But what they can’t be is
They can’t be a dare.
And they certainly can’t be everyone’s snare.
They lick and luff and lack.
They sniff and snuff and snack.
But they never have the guts to go
Where the world is not a show.
‘Cause if you want to do so
It takes a man’s heart to set.
And a man’s heart is hard to get
When you’re in a closet’s jet.

Care

care_pic1

I sat on a chair in the square and he always remembered that fare;
That’s why he put a clock in the chair – to watch off the snare of the mare.
And what was the snare? That I might rid away his scare.
And what was the scare? That time will wash out his care.
And what was the care? That the world was not made a lare.
And why was it not made a lare? Because God had created it fair.
And when did it become unfair? When we decided to unpair.
And how did we unpair? By obeying the hiss of the whizz.
And how did we hear the hiss? By using our bareness amiss.
And how did God righten the snare? By covering us in His white bear.
